Job summary

CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC seeks a skilled CVT to support the Electrophysiology Lab and Hybrid OR, performing intra-procedural assistance, patient positioning, and radiographic equipment operation under EP physician supervision.

The CVT will monitor hemodynamics, scrub cases including generator changes, PPM/ICD implants, lead extraction, and complex CRM procedures, with opportunities for skill advancement through validations and training new staff.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete corporate and department skill validations.
• Ability to monitor and scrub EP studies and device cases.
• Train new or existing employees in EP Lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and scrub diagnostic and interventional EP studies and ablations.
• Assist with generator changes and PPM/ICD implants including complex CRM devices.
• Support device explants, lead extraction, venography, and temporary PPM procedures.
• Participate in training of junior staff.
