Job summary

Health First is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Invasive Specialist RN to provide procedural support in the EP lab, with duties spanning sterile preparation, patient assessment, documentation and monitoring. The role includes potential work in cardiac Cath and interventional radiology as needed.

Minimum qualifications include an ASN or Nursing Diploma and Florida RN licensure. BLS and ACLS are required, with RCES/RCIS/CCRN preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required to practice as RN in Florida.
• Active RN licensure in Florida or endorsement is required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification before start date and maintained.
• AHA ACLS Healthcare Provider certification within 90 days of start and maintained.
• Preferred: RCES, RCIS, or CCRN certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians to enhance hemodynamic and angiographic techniques and anticipate equipment needs.
• Set up and monitor EP recording computer monitor system and document changes for physician review.
• Support physicians with mapping, stimulating, and catheter insertions.
• Maintain aseptic technique and safe environment in the lab.
• Execute physician orders accurately and promote team collaboration.
• Identify emergency situations and implement safety measures as directed.
