Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology with Electrophysiology specialization.
• Active Alabama medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Must be eligible for medical staff credentialing.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to perform procedures based on credentialed competencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive electrophysiology cardiology care in a clinic setting.
• Partner with administrative leadership to support operational planning and clinical strategy.
• Help determine service offerings, equipment needs, and clinic workflow improvements.
• Develop and maintain patient care policies, protocols, and best practices.
• Monitor quality metrics and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Build strong referral relationships with physicians and community partners.
• Address physician-related operational concerns and improve communication across teams.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and departmental growth initiatives.
• Participate in committee meetings and leadership discussions related to clinic operations.
• Maintain strong collaboration with medical staff and hospital leadership.
