Job summary

Qualifications

• MD/DO Medicine degree required.
• Tennessee medical license required.
• AOA/ABMS board certification preferred or required per specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations and assessments to diagnose and treat patients.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
• Orders, performs, and interprets tests, and analyzes records to diagnose and treat patients.
• Maintains timely documentation and coordinates care with nursing and support staff.
