Job summary

Passaic County Community College seeks an EOF Student Engagement Assistant (PT) in Paterson, NJ to support counseling program operations and student outreach. The role reports to the Senior Counselor and provides student-facing and administrative support, maintaining records and developing programming to promote student success.

Requires an Associate's degree, higher education experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom.

Qualifications

• Must be very organized, detail oriented and maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
• Experience using Microsoft Suite and Zoom.
• Ability to manage a variety of priorities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner.

EOF Student Engagement Assistant (PT)

Part-time Regular Paterson, NJ, US

We are seeking an EOF Student Engagement Assistant who will report to the Senior Counselor. This person will supply student-facing and administrative support to facilitate effective and efficient daily office operations and the overall success of EOF's Counseling program efforts.

This is a part-time, hourly position.

Example of Duties:

• Assist with the development, administration, and evaluation of student outreach and retention efforts.

The completion of a background check will be a required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $16-$17.

• New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
