Job summary
KBR is seeking an Electro-optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Engineer SME to support the F-22 programs at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. You will lead systems engineering integration, collaborate on requirements verification, attend milestone reviews, and drive MBSE and documentation to ensure rapid, reliable fielding of advanced EO/IR capabilities.
This on-site role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 20+ years in systems engineering, and an active Top Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science with 20+ years in systems engineering.
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
- Advanced EO/IR systems knowledge and standards.
- Ability to oversee junior staff and coordinate across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration of EO/IR capabilities into ACAT I programs.
- Develop and verify Requirements Verification Matrix for new releases.
- Provide insights at milestone reviews with actionable recommendations.
- Review engineering data to validate Raptor Release requirements.
- Assess and resolve design defects with stakeholders to meet standards.
- Advance MBSE and document reviews to support program objectives.
- Contribute to SOWs and CDRLs to ensure contractor deliverables.
