Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Wastewater Manager to lead the wastewater treatment and potable water systems at the ZCR Complex. You will ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and environmental stewardship while guiding daily operations and staff development.

You will manage maintenance, records, and regulatory reporting, with occasional travel to other Agribusiness facilities. A strong safety focus and experience in environmental systems are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of experience.
• Understanding of standard software applications.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental studies.
• State Wastewater Class 5A and 3G Potable Water Treatment license.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical environmental operations that protect communities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee wastewater treatment facility operations and potable water system at the ZCR Complex.
• Manage staff: hiring, training and development; enforce safe working conditions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations; maintain records and submit reports as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure parts, supplies, and chemicals are available.
• Travel to remote Agribusiness facilities for meetings and work.
