Job summary

Clean Earth is seeking an Environmental Driver Specialist CDLB to travel on assigned routes, pack, transport, and dispose of waste per federal, state, and local regs and CE policies. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, paperwork, route adherence, and high-level customer service across multiple industries.

Requirements include a Class B CDL, MEC, TWIC, and 21+ years of age; Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age per FMCSA guidelines.
• Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Maintain a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and valid TWIC card.
• Hazmat and/or Tanker endorsement preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 1+ years route driving experience preferred.
• 1+ years of waste industry experience preferred.
• Experience with a straight truck, or combo vehicle as well as roll-off bins/boxes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment.
• Load and secure materials and waste or unload truck at various customer sites or locations.
• Label, package, and transport waste safely according to DOT and company guidelines.
• Complete required paperwork (route sheets, manifests, BOLs, etc.) per regulations.
• Prepare and load truck and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Follow route schedule and ensure DOT hours of service compliance.
• Provide high-level customer service and communicate issues to management for resolution.
• Perform warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials.
• Operate PPE and safety protocols; comply with site safety policies.
• Overnight stays up to 4 per week may be required with paid hotel expenses.
