The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and Illinois bar admission or eligibility, with strong research and advocacy skills and client-focused service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in environmental litigation, toxic tort, product liability, or other complex litigation matters.
• Experience handling matters in state and federal courts.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Experience managing discovery, depositions, expert witnesses, and case strategy.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters and work collaboratively within a litigation team.
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted.

Responsibilities

• Handle environmental and tort litigation matters for the firm’s clients.
• Manage discovery, depositions, expert witnesses, and overall case strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy and advocacy.
