Job summary

The ideal candidate has 1–7 years of litigation experience, California Bar admission, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 1–7 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Environmental, toxic tort, complex civil litigation, or related experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and case-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a litigation team.
• Active California Bar license and admission required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex environmental and toxic tort litigation matters.
• Handle matters involving contamination, remediation, and environmental exposure.
• Work on cases involving PFAS, benzene, heavy metals, silica, solvents, mold, asbestos, and Proposition 65.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
• Handle discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate case exposure.
• Present persuasive written and oral arguments.
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Independently manage assignments and multiple litigation matters.
