Job summary

Draper, in Cambridge, MA, seeks an Environmental Test Technician to support a wide range of environmental testing in a dynamic laboratory. You will assist, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot facility equipment, and coordinate technical documentation such as calibration records, preventive maintenance, drawings, and procedures.

You will primarily support environmental test work in Cambridge, with occasional assignments in Bedford; evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a 2 year technical school or 2 years applicable experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and complex integration and test activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment with limited supervision.
• Operates complex equipment in the production of hardware using complex manual skills with training and limited supervision.
• Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision.
• Perform focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor.
