Job summary

Draper is seeking an Environmental Test Support Technician to support environmental testing in its Cambridge, MA laboratory. You will assist, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot facility equipment, coordinate documentation, and handle test data and supplies.

The role requires the ability to document work, communicate effectively, and work with Microsoft Office applications. Occasional evenings/weekends may be needed in a process-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a 2 year technical school or 2 years applicable experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and test activities is preferred.
• Ability to document and communicate work clearly and follow procedures.
• Experience with hand and power tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Operates complex equipment used in hardware production.
• Documents work according to unit policy with limited supervision.
• Supports training to progress into higher skilled positions.
