Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Environmental Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in Los Angeles, the Environmental Test Technician performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the assigned department, ensuring timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician must be proficient in core skills including compliance with safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies.

Salary: $25-$32/hr

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer-supplied articles for testing
• Perform tests according to customer specifications
• Operate under the supervision of a senior test technician or department manager
• Gather and record test data
• Construct and maintain test fixtures and laboratory equipment

Skills / Qualifications

Ideal candidates will be proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented. You should be a specialist in your field, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about challenges. You will:

• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Understand daily tasks and complete them promptly
• Be capable of reading and interpreting customer specifications and performing required tests
• Develop skills to set up and execute tests under supervision and with technical guidance from senior staff

Note: This position requires access to export-controlled data and commodities. U.S. citizenship, permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. export authorization is required. Employment is contingent upon obtaining necessary export licenses.
