Job summary

United Uptime Services in El Paso, TX is seeking an Environmental Technician/Operator to operate vac trucks and heavy machinery for environmental cleanup projects. You will handle pit cleaning, soil removal, waste transport and site restoration while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

The role requires 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid CDL, and OSHA HazWOPER or willingness to get trained. Weekend work and on-call duties are expected.

As an Environmental Technician/Operator you will Operate Vac truck and heavy machinery to support environmental cleanup projects and committed workloads. Work includes pit cleaning of sandtraps from carwashes, soil removal, waste handling, and site restoration. Safety and teamwork are key.

Responsibilities

• Help with spill cleanup, O&M, and waste transport
• Inspect and maintain equipment
• Followsafety rules and cleanup plans
• Keep basic logs and communicate with the crew

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (CDL required)
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER (or willing to get trained)
• Work on weekends and be on-call
