Job summary

A & Associates is seeking an Environmental Technician II for the Kings Mountain, NC facility. This role runs on 3rd shift (11pm–7am) and 1st shift (7am–4pm, Mon–Fri), with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include waste management, forklift operation, and proper labeling of chemicals, with safety trainings required before starting. Applicants must have steel-toed boots, a valid driver’s license, and Hazwoper-related trainings.

Qualifications

• Must have steel-toed boots (PPE provided by site).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Hazwoper Training (24hr) before starting.
• Hazwoper Physical and Audio/Hearing Test before starting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all waste and recycle bins are emptied throughout the day.
• Operate a forklift.
• Properly separate, collect, store, and label waste, recycle, and chemicals.
• Communicate with other department employees to train on proper recycling and disposal of waste generated during the production process.
• Report any issues or concerns to WM management.
