Job summary

Veolia North America is expanding its environmental services team in Indianapolis. This Environmental Technician role involves consolidating, treating, storing and/or disposing of hazardous waste in compliance with regulations.

You will lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift, and complete required documentation; training will be provided. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lb, stand on uneven surfaces, and wear PPE.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Stand/walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.
• Visual acuity to read labels and depth perception to drive forklifts.
• Willingness to wear PPE: safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, respirator.
• Outdoor and indoor work in varying climates.
