Job Description

Environmental Technicians are essential to our operations. You will join a dedicated team, learning about environmental regulations and hazardous waste removal. Your responsibilities include consolidating, treating, storing, transporting, and disposing of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental policies and procedures. This physically active role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, operating forklifts and mobile equipment, and accurately completing documentation as per regulations and customer policies.

Qualifications

Basic requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods
• Good eyesight to read labels and documentation; depth perception for forklift operation
• Ability to hear warning alarms and chimes
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled environments
• Willingness to wear PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments
• Basic computer skills for web-based training
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
• Professional and courteous interactions with customers and coworkers
