JOHN STAURULAKIS INC seeks an Environmental Technical Editor and Administrator in Lubbock, TX. The role focuses on editing, formatting, and maintaining high-quality client-facing documents and providing administrative support to project teams across multiple regions.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in English or related field and 5–10 years of technical editing experience, with strong Word skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of technical editing, document production, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and strong knowledge of document formatting, styles, templates, and editing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Edit and format client-facing deliverables, including reports, letters, proposals, and other technical documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Maintain team resumes, templates, style guides, Site Tracker information, and SHPO access tracking and controls.
• Support 508 Compliance efforts to ensure deliverables meet accessibility requirements.
• Coordinate the production of physical deliverables, including printing, packaging, and mailing.
• Provide administrative and document support to teams across regions, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure deliverables are complete and ready for client submission.
