Job summary

HPC-Industrial powered by Clean Harbors is seeking an Environmental Technician I to join a safety-conscious team in Billings, MT. You will operate a range of equipment for industrial services, waste management and tank cleaning following established procedures.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, setup, maintenance and safe operation. The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma, and adherence to OSHA and site safety rules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience.
• May require TWIC credential for access to certain sites.
• OSHA training and site-specific safety procedures required.
• Must be physically capable of performing duties and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating industrial waste treatment equipment and power tools per rules.
• Check equipment at shift start; hook up and break down hoses with proper tools.
• Manually clean, install, repair valves, hoses, pumps and related equipment.
• Inspect equipment, hoses, connections and work area; report deficiencies.
• Wear PPE as prescribed; follow safety directives from supervisors/clients.
• Promote safety; report accidents or near misses to supervision; follow directions.
