Job summary

UPMC Divine is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate for a full-time evening shift (5:00pm–1:30am) with weekend and holiday rotation. You will clean patient rooms, public areas, offices and equipment to meet hospital standards and promote a safe, sanitary environment.

Responsibilities include making beds, inspecting areas, replenishing supplies, removing trash, and moving furniture or equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use housekeeping equipment.
• Must not have contact with medications.
• Comply with safety and sanitation regulations.

• Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices, and equipment, following established procedures.
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, report problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
• Remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Move equipment, furniture, boxes; wash walls, spot carpets, etc., as assigned.

This role is crucial in promoting the quality of care rendered in the environment. Responsibilities also include moving equipment, furniture, boxes, and handling blinds and curtains.
