Summary
Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor, performs cleaning duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Consistently applies the corporate values of respect, honesty, and fairness, and strives for excellence in providing high-value, customer-friendly services within a comprehensive health system.
• Performs cleaning duties such as dusting mirrors and glass, emptying trash, shining brass, stripping and renewing floor finishes, cleaning screens, radiators, drinking fountains, and telephones.
• Ensures towel and toilet dispensers are stocked.
• Keeps stairs and stairwells clean and debris-free.
• Moves furniture, beds, and supplies as needed.
• Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Washes floors in various areas including corridors, bathrooms, and offices.
• Sweeps and dusts gym floors as required.
• Sprays and buffs floors as needed.
• Ensures wash tubs, sinks, and toilets are cleaned properly.
• Reports fire hazards or other safety issues immediately.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in an orderly condition.
• Observes hospital policies, safety, and security regulations.

Other Information

Performs related duties as required.

Basic Knowledge

Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Experience

Up to one month.
