Mercy is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks across the healthcare facility, supporting infection control standards and regulatory requirements.

You will help maintain a healthy, hygienic environment that promotes patient healing and well-being, with responsibilities including standing/walking for shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior Hospital Environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
