Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience as Environmental Specialist I or higher with the State of Florida.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 2.5 years of experience in apiculture, environmental protection, regulation, or health; or one physical or natural science or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree (4 years) with 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise and direct activities of Environmental Specialists in plant protection, certification and regulation.
• Provide training, performance appraisals and attendance approvals for subordinates.
• Manage budget, resources, and equipment for assigned programs and ensure compliance with policies.
