Job summary

YU & Associates is an established engineering firm in Bergen County, New Jersey. We seek an experienced Environmental Engineer to manage projects from proposal development through scheduling and client communications, including investigations, data analysis, and routine calculations to evaluate feasible solutions.

The candidate will handle environmental remediation support, prepare reports, maintain plans and permits, and collaborate with scientists and planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of environmental rules, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create solutions to environmental problems.

Job description

YU & Associates is an established Engineering Firm located in Bergen County, New Jersey.

The successful candidate will manage aspects of important projects including proposal development, budget, project execution and scheduling, and client communications. They will participate in conducting engineering investigations and planning work, completing well‑defined tasks such as collecting and analyzing data using established procedures, performing routine calculations, and evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions. The candidate will be dedicated to managing environmental issues proactively and professionally.

• Ability to think on large and small scales.
• Familiarity with quality assurance, documentation, environmental rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong computer skills.

Additional Requirements

• Regular field work in a variety of seasonal conditions.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Travel required.
