Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation is seeking an Environmental Technician to support sampling, monitoring, inspections and data management under the Environmental Superintendent. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while aligning daily tasks with Kinross values.

You will communicate with site personnel, perform sampling and data entry, and assist in reporting. The role requires a minimum of two years toward an Environmental degree and a valid US driver’s license; 18+ and

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
General understanding of mining operations; limited milling/maintenance knowledge.
Proficiency with PC software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations).
Able to work independently and as part of a management team.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with site personnel to ensure environmental compliance.
Conduct sampling and monitoring in line with company and regulatory requirements, including data entry and reporting.
Follow environmental, safety rules and regulations.
Assist in developing other departmental personnel in listed duties.
Adhere to Kinross policies including safety, confidentiality and code of conduct.
