Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on Washington's North Olympic Peninsula is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to clean and service hospital facilities. Evening shift with weekend/holiday shifts available and several shift differentials.

The role includes contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff. Salary ranges from $20.79 to $30.56 per hour, with union representation by SEIU 1199 as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of previous industrial/hospital housekeeping experience preferred.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license required when assigned off-site clinic cleaning.
• Driving record must comply with OMC standards.

Job Description

The Environmental Services Worker works to ensure the safety, health and morale of patients, visitors and employees by cleaning and servicing OMC buildings and facilities and providing a clean, attractive and safe environment.

Education

• High school diploma/equivalent preferred.

Experience

• One year of previous industrial/hospital housekeeping experience preferred.

None.

When Assigned Off-site Clinic Cleaning Duties

• Valid Washington State driver’s license required.
• Driving record in compliance with OMC standards in effect or as may be amended, required (see HR Policy 3.12 Driving for OMC Business).
