GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Environmental Services Worker position involvescleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining patient and resident rooms and common areas to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe, healthy environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors.Key responsibilities include proper waste management, sanitizing high-touch surfaces and medical equipment, following strict cleaning protocols for sensitive areas, and adhering to all hospital and regulatory standards for cleanliness and infection control.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Ability to read and write the English language required.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
