Job summary

Virtua Health is hiring a part-time Environmental Services worker to keep facilities clean and safe on site in Camden. You will perform cleaning tasks, manage trash and linens, and ensure universal precautions are followed to protect patients and staff.

The role requires English fluency and prior customer service experience. The position offers a 2nd shift, per diem classification, and eligibility for the standard Virtua benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains Virtua facilities as directed, including cleaning, trash removal, linen distribution, and room set up.
• Maintains universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handles and disposes of regulated medical waste and other trash.
• Responsible for proper chemical usage and maintaining a safe environment, including storage of chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May assume linen responsibilities as required.
• May be required to work in other facilities as assigned.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $21.33The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
