Job summary

NJ Department of Environmental Protection in Cedar Knolls, NJ seeks a candidate to support Remediation Management within Northern Field Operations. You will learn to review reports, conduct inspections, and assist in enforcing environmental laws under supervision.

Responsibilities include evaluating remedial reports, performing field audits of UHOT contractors, and coordinating permits and on-site actions for Educational Facilities and Care Centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Physical/Environmental Science or Engineering field.
• Degrees/transcripts must be from an accredited college/university; foreign degrees evaluated.
• Driver’s license required if vehicle operation is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Review remedial action reports and ensure compliance with remediation standards.
• Conduct field inspections of facilities and UHOT-related sites.
• Oversee permits and coordinate on-scene activities as needed.
