Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician in Bowling Green, KY. This per diem/PRN role features a 7a-3:30pm schedule with hours varied Sunday through Saturday and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe patient and hospital environment and supporting supply replenishment. Experience in hospital EVS or housekeeping is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is recommended.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• POETs testing completed as part of onboarding before first day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, lounges, bathrooms, and hallways.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor to maintain a safe environment.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, towels and toilet tissue and other disposables.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby area.

• Assists in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.

• Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
