Christie Clinic—Windsor clinic in Champaign, IL—is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Technician I (5:00pm–9:00pm, Monday to Friday) to clean and prepare exam rooms, offices and procedure areas. The role focuses on sanitation, waste removal and supply replenishment in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly manner and re-stock supplies as needed.
• Transport trash and soiled linen from collection points to designated area.
• Dust surfaces, damp wipe furniture and clean and polish metal/porcelain fixtures in bathrooms.
• Sanitize and sterilize clinic areas and remove carpet spots.
• Deliver inventory to various departments with minimal interference to department function.
• Perform related work as required.

Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of maintenance equipment is required.**TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:**Work is performed in a combination of office laboratory, exam room and special medical procedure rooms. Frequent exposure to dirty and unsanitary conditions, harsh cleaning agents, toxic chemicals, contaminated wastes and bodily fluids is common.
