Job Description

I. JOB SUMMARY

Maintain neat, orderly, and sanitary conditions by performing various environmental services as directed by your supervisor or management staff.

Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday w/ weekend availability

II. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform cleaning and disinfecting of all areas according to department policies, including departments, patient rooms, offices, hallways, walls, and windows. Report any damage, maintenance issues, fire or safety hazards. Clean and store all equipment and supplies. Interact daily with patients, families, employees, and the public, maintaining HIPAA compliance. Work independently with minimal supervision. Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous hospital environmental services experience

Required Interpersonal Skills:

• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to read, speak, write in English, and follow instructions
• Professional appearance
