Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL seeks an Environmental Services Tech to create a sanitary, safe environment and to maintain the appearance of the facility.

You will clean patient rooms and assigned areas daily, stock supplies, sanitize equipment, and help manage a floor care program following hospital policies. No degree is required, and the role may involve lifting, bending, and working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Shift: Evenings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation of medical equipment as required.

Summary

Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.

Responsibilities

Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. May be responsible for maintaining a consistent floor care program according to outlined policies and procedures. Performs other environmental services duties as needed. Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Ensures proper sanitation of medical equipment as required. Replenish supplies and/or linen in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
