Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL seeks an Environmental Services technician to maintain a sanitary, safe environment and enhance the facility's appearance.

You will perform floor care, clean patient rooms and common areas, replenish supplies, and ensure proper sanitation of equipment. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting. Day shifts available.

Qualifications

• No experience required; healthcare or hospitality experience preferred.
• Requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a consistent floor care program per policy.
• Keep cart and equipment clean and stored properly.
• Replenish supplies and linen in patient rooms.
• Clean patient rooms and other areas daily; remove trash; change linens; sanitize surfaces.
• Ensure sanitation of medical equipment.
• Perform other environmental services duties as needed.

Summary

Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.

Responsibilities

May be responsible for maintaining a consistent floor care program according to outlined policies and procedures.Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.Replenish supplies and/or linen in patient rooms as necessary or designated.Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Ensures proper sanitation of medical equipment as required.Performs other environmental services duties as needed.
