Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking an Environmental Services Technician for evening shifts to maintain a sanitary, safe environment and support patient care areas. You will replenish supplies, clean rooms, sanitize surfaces and ensure proper equipment sanitation daily.

No degree is required. Healthcare or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory. This is a fast-paced role supporting infection control and patient comfort across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform other environmental services duties as needed.
• Cleans patient rooms and assigned areas daily including trash removal, changing linens and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure proper sanitation of medical equipment.

Summary

Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.

Responsibilities

Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Ensures proper sanitation of medical equipment as required.Performs other environmental services duties as needed.May be responsible for maintaining a consistent floor care program according to outlined policies and procedures.Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.Replenish supplies and/or linen in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
