Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is hiring an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) / Housekeeping at our Saddle Brook, NJ facility. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe environment in patient areas, halls, and rooms to support patient recovery and visitor satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Previous Hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeps halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms clean to provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
• Reports repair issues and needs to maintain the physical plant.
• Keeps floors clean and safe with dust mopping and wet mopping as needed.
• Cleans and polishes metal trim, furnishing, equipment; washes walls, windows, and beds as assigned.
• Strips, waxes, and buffs floors using proper safety precautions.
• Replenishes supplies including soap, towels, and toilet tissue.

Position: Environmental Services Technician (EVS) / Housekeeping

Location: 300 Market St, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663

Schedule: Full-Time, 7AM - 3PM/ Monday - Friday (alternating weekends)

Compensation: $19.30 - $24.47 (Based on Experience) + Shift Differential

Housekeepers (Environmental Services Technicians) help provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere in our hospitals. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery and visitor satisfaction by keeping the halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms clean.

• Assists in maintaining the quality and appearance of the physical plant by reporting repair issues and needs on a daily basis or as needed.
• Keeps floors clean and safe by dust mopping and wet mopping as necessary.
• Cleans and polishes all metal trim, furnishing, and/or equipment as necessary, as well as washes walls, windows, and beds as assigned.
• Strips, waxes, and buffs floors as assigned using safety precautions to properly carry out the procedures.
• Assists in moving furniture as requested. Replenishes supplies, including soap, towels, and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Hospital EVS experience preferred.
