Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas including furniture, tile, fixtures, windows, sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, and showers.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
• Observe infection prevention standards and use correct chemicals for pathogens.
• Maintain EVS closet, EVS cart, and equipment; report hazards and restock supplies.
• Replenish paper and soap supplies, and hand sanitizer.
• Coordinate special projects with departments and post informational signs.
• Move furniture and equipment per safety procedures.
• Mix and store chemicals with correct dilution; use PPE and read directions.
• Make beds and manage beds in EPIC; respond to calls within 5 minutes.
• Return used mops and adhere to waste handling regulations.
