Overview

Responsible for sanitation, floor care, and organization of patient rooms, floors, bed setups, and ancillary areas.

Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including furniture, fixtures, windows, sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, showers, floors, elevators, stairs, door frames, ceiling vents, and carpets.
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and infection prevention standards.
• Maintain EVS equipment and supplies, report safety hazards, and ensure proper chemical handling and storage.
• Replenish supplies like paper, soap, and hand sanitizer.
• Assist with special projects, move furniture and equipment safely, and manage waste according to regulations.
• Use PPE properly, including safety goggles, and follow chemical dilution and handling procedures.
• Make beds according to specific needs, utilize bed tracking systems, and ensure rooms are ready for new patients.
• Utilize tools like Xenex UV Light robot in designated rooms.

Physical Demands

This role involves very heavy work, including repetitive motions, lifting up to 100 pounds, and various physical activities with or without accommodations.

Supervision

Supervised by EVS Tech 3/Team Leads, Supervisors, Managers, or Directors. Some independent judgment required.
