Job summary

BayCare in Tampa, FL is seeking a Housekeeping team member to perform cleaning and related duties in patient and non-patient areas. The position works 8:00am–4:30pm, full-time with every other weekend, and no on-call requirements.

You will ensure clean, safe environments and support patient care areas. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and offices, linen distribution, and equipment and supply maintenance, along with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospital or healthcare cleaning preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Clean occupied and discharged patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas.
• Distribute linen and maintain supply areas.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; support department needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
