Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinical areas, and other assigned areas.
• Sanitize and disinfect patient rooms and operating rooms following standard procedures.
• Handle linen distribution and gather/dispose of trash.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas and non-clinical spaces.
• Follow Kadlec Environmental Services guidelines and safety protocols.

Under direct supervision, performs daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinical areas, non-clinical areas, and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with Kadlec standards and objectives. Performs a variety of functions related to environmental services of the Medical Center and its ancillary buildings. These functions will include cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms and the Operating Rooms, bathrooms, linen distribution, cleaning office and public areas, gathering and disposing of trash.
