Environmental Services Technician

We are hiring for Environmental Services Technician positions at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Kodiak, AK!

• Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week as needed

This position cleans and services the main interior of the hospital. Strips, waxes, buffs floors and cleans carpets as required. Gathers and disposes of trash throughout the hospital. Vacuums carpeted floors and dusts. Cleans patient rooms, ER, OR and all ancillary areas. The Environmental Service Worker performs designated duties to ensure a clean and aseptic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months housekeeping experience, hospital or commercial.
