Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a senior care environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• Must be able to pass a State of Minnesota Department of Human Services criminal background study, as well as a United States Office of the Inspector General Exclusion search
  
  

Essential Functions

• Performs general cleaning throughout the facility, as directed by the Environmental Services Director
• Assists Environmental Services Director to ensure facility is in compliance with all appropriate State and Federal regulations
• Partners effectively with others and supports all employees within the facility, as directed by the Environmental Services Director
• Maintains a clean sanitary work area
• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by supervisor
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents
• Participates in facility and departmental meetings and inservices, as required
• Maintains all cleaning logs, as directed by the Environmental Services Director
• Coordinates daily services with other departments, as applicable, when performing routine assignments in resident living areas
• Follows cleaning schedule/instruction from supervisor and as outlined in established cleaning policies and procedures
• Maintains PPE consistent with facility/state/federal regulations
