Prime Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) at St Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. You will clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas to prevent infections, manage waste, restock supplies, and respond to urgent cleaning needs.

The role requires the ability to read, understand and communicate effectively, with a preferred one year of acute care hospital EVS experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifikationen

• One year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices and procedures preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.

• Restock supplies like gloves, masks, and cleaning materials in various hospital areas.

• Respond to urgent cleaning needs such as spills or contamination incidents and communicate promptly using phone, handheld radios, pagers, and other devices.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling between facilities independently.

We are seeking a n Environmental Services Technician, also referred to as a EVS Tech or Hospital Housekeeper . The EVS Tech ensures a safe and healthy environment by cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas to prevent infection. The EVS Tech will handle waste disposal, restock supplies, maintain floors and surfaces, and respond to urgent cleaning needs.
