Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth seeks an Environmental Services Aide to maintain cleanliness and quality within a healthcare facility in support of hospital standards. You will clean patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas, manage linens and inventory distribution, and interact with patients of all ages as part of daily tasks.

The role requires Day/Eve rotation, Day/Evening shifts, and includes weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Maintains cleanliness and quality within the healthcare facility per Essentia Health standards.
• Cleans patient, public, clinical and administrative areas; handles linens and inventory distribution.

Job Description:

Under direct supervision, position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and quality within the healthcare facility in support of Essentia Health standards. Cleans and services patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas, maintaining a well-groomed appearance. Includes other designated activities such as management of linens and inventory distribution, stocking, and collection. Contact with patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly, may occur while performing job responsibilities.
