Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Full-time Environmental Services worker for the Dallas Medical Center area, evening shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. The role focuses on cleaning patient areas, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety through proper waste disposal and supply restocking.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of hospital environmental service experience, read and communicate effectively, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• One year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices and procedures preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas to prevent infections.
• Properly disposing of medical and hazardous waste according to hospital protocols.
• Restock supplies like gloves, masks, and cleaning materials in various hospital areas.
• Clean and maintain floors, restrooms, and other surfaces using specialized equipment and chemicals.
• Respond to urgent cleaning needs and communicate promptly using phone, handheld radios, pagers, and other devices.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling between facilities independently.
