Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a Full-time Senior Environmental Services Technician (Team Lead) for the Evening Swing shift. The role combines hands-on cleaning duties with supervising ES staff, providing training, and ensuring infection control and high cleanliness standards across patient areas and common spaces.

The ideal candidate has CHEST certification within 2 years of hire, at least 2 years as a Service Associate and 1 year of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain assigned areas and equipment to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

  • Train and orient new team members and act as a resource for guidance.
  • Monitor quality and timeliness of staff work to ensure policy compliance.
  • Assist in quality improvement and customer service initiatives.
  • Respond to spills and urgent cleaning needs from clinical staff.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.

City/StateVirginia Beach, VAWork ShiftSwing ShiftOverview:entara Princess Anne Hospital is hiring a Full-time, Evening Shift, Senior Environmental Services Technician (Team Lead).Hours/Shift: Swing 12:00 p.m. to 8 pm Monday through Friday and every other weekend.The Senior Environmental Services Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position combines hands-on service with functional supervision of environmental services staff to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met in assigned areas.In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining assigned areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition, ensuring an appropriate and sanitary environment.
