Job summary

ProHealth Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Project Technician to perform daily and scheduled cleaning across patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas within our facilities, including patient care areas and common spaces. Duties include stripping and waxing floors, carpet cleaning, scrubbing and polishing hard surfaces, and maintaining cleaning equipment while practicing infection control.

All work follows safety standards and focuses on customer service; role also involves safely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and scheduled cleaning across patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas.
• Strip and wax floors, clean carpets and furniture, scrub and polish hard surfaces.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and perform basic battery maintenance.
• Handle waste streams safely according to infection control standards.
• Support infection control and safety standards and customer service focus.

What You Will Do

Primary responsibilities will be to perform daily and scheduled project cleaning in patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas. This will include, but not limited to stripping and waxing floors, carpet, and furniture cleaning, scrubbing, cleaning, and polishing hard floor surfaces, maintaining cleaning quipment such as changing brushes and squeegees, battery maintenance and other preventative maintenance duties.

In addition to this as needed the Project Technician will perform a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient areas including patient care areas, public/private restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators, and stairwells. Also performs scheduled terminal/project cleaning in surgical areas and construction cleans as required.

All work is to be performed according to infection control and safety standards, and in a manner that supports the organization's focus on customer service.This position is responsible for safely handling and packaging all waste streams.
