Job summary

MaineHealth is hiring a Part-time Environmental Services Team Member at Lincoln Hospital (Watson building). You will perform cleaning duties in patient rooms, offices, and common areas to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

The role is 24 hours per week, scheduled M-W-F 8:00a-4:30p, with a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 for eligible hires and prorated for part-time status, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean exam rooms after patients have left and empty trash containers.
• Collect soiled linen bags and replace with fresh bags.
• Keep stairwells and lobby areas clean; stock bathrooms with paper products.
• Stock the linen cart and collect bio-hazardous material for processing.
• Schedule: M-W-F 8:00a-4:30p; 24 hours per week.

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $3,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Environmental Service Technicians!

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time Environmental Service Technician position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires , per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Lincoln Hospital is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Team Member (housekeeping) to join their team, working in the Watson building. Primary responsibilities will include cleaning exam rooms after patients have left, emptying trash containers, collecting soiled linen bags and replacing with fresh bags, keeping stairwells & lobby areas clean and free of dust, ensuring public and staff bathrooms are stocked with paper products, stocking the linen cart, as well as collecting bio-hazardous material and delivering to the hospital for processing. EVS Team Members play a vital role in the care provided to patients we serve. The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.70 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
