Job summary

University Health is seeking a seasoned Environmental Services Supervisor to lead a 40-person shift, schedule assignments, and mentor team leaders. You will ensure compliance with sanitation policies and safety protocols across departments.

The role requires strong English communication, a high school diploma, and at least three years of supervisory experience in environmental services. You will represent the department to senior management, handle code/disaster responses, and oversee time-off

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of supervisory experience required.
• Supervisory experience in environmental services preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages the work assignments of a 40 person shift in EVS across all departments.
• Schedules work assignments for Associates and Team Leaders.
• Provides Quality Surveillance to ensure correct chemicals, PPE, and equipment status.
• Mentors departmental Team Leaders and Trainers.
• Represents the department to senior managers and the House Supervisor and enforces policies.
• Completes schedules, approves time-off requests, and directs EVS response to codes and disasters.
