Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a supervisor for Environmental Services to organize, supervise and improve cleanliness across the facility. You will interview, train, schedule and evaluate staff while ensuring safety, quality and patient satisfaction in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires leadership experience in healthcare environmental services, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Leadership and hospital environmental services experience preferred.
• Certification required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise Environmental Services staff and daily operations.
• Interview, train, schedule and evaluate associates; discharge staff as needed.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies and quality standards.
• Monitor patient throughput, perform quality control and incident resolution.
• Communicate issues to the Director and coordinate with other departments.
